lafia Journal of Economics and Management Sciences (LAJEMS) is the official Journal of the Department of Economics, Federal University Lafia, Nasarawa State, Nigeria. It is a peer- reviewed journal that provides international outlet for scholarly dissemination of findings on empirical and theoretical research in the field of economics, business administration, accounting and marketing bi-annually (June and December). The Journal receives papers and articles from members of the academic institutions, research organizations, non-governmental organizations and independent researchers for consideration and possible publication in issues of the Journal.

Author Guidelines

 

Intending contributors should send their manuscripts typed doubled-spaced on A4 paper and not exceeding 18 pages as an email attachment to [email protected] or [email protected] or [email protected],ng. The submission should include an abstract of about 150 words stating the thesis, findings, recommendations and conclusion.. File format should be MS words and must be PC compatible. Manuscript should be prepared in accordance with the format prescribed by the American Psychological Association. For details, see the publication manual of the APA. Once Accepted, authors are asked to provide a final soft copy, which cannot be at proof stage.

The submission must be accompanied with an assessment fee of five thousand Naira (#5000) to the Editor-in-Chief. Contributor will receive a complimentary copy of the edition in which their contributions appear. The journal is also available on Federal University Lafia website and can be assessed at Fulafia.edu.ng/economics

Anonymous review

All manuscripts will be reviewed anonymously. Authors are therefore expected to send manuscripts with the first page containing the title, name(s), contact information (including email) and affiliation. The second page should contain the title of the article and abstract, with the rest of the manuscript beginning with the introduction.
